About the Art
Air New Zealand Environment Trust (ANZET) has commissioned an original pastel of kea, from talented British artist and bird lover, Annette Ashton. The resulting limited edition prints have been very generously donated to the Kea Conservation Trust to raise much needed funds to protect our stunning South Island parrot. Only 150 high quality limited edition prints have been produced from the original artwork and are numbered and signed and the Certificates of Authenticity signed and affixed. All profits will be donated to support kea conservation initiatives in New Zealand.

About the Artist
Annette Ashton’s passion for art is inspired by the beauty and harmony of colours found in nature. She has exhibited her work in galleries together with other artists and in solo exhibitions in Britain. From her home in Suffolk, Annette works mainly in pastel but uses other media in her paintings to create different effects and textures. She has completed work to commission and her paintings are held in private collections in the UK, Europe and Australasia.
