Kea are New Zealand’s alpine treasures. At the Kea Conservation Trust we work in collaboration with others, to preserve and protect these unique birds, both in their natural habitat and in captivity. To make this vision of a sustainable future for kea a reality however, we need your support! You can help support kea conservation by making a Donation, becoming a Sponsor, Volunteer or Member, signing up for Payroll giving, making a Bequest or Name a Kea! You can also help by donation of your professional services (check out our great video below for an example of this)!
The Kea Conservation Trust would like to acknowledge the commitment of our sponsors, members, supporters and volunteers to the cause of conservation and best practice captive management of Kea in New Zealand. As a registered charitable trust, we rely on your support, to ensure kea are protected for the future.
Check out this lovely short video clip filmed, produced and donated by one of our supporters - Text und Bild - which graphically highlights why kea need our support.
